Business Development Manager - Latin America

Toky was founded in 2014 and now powers customer sales & support conversations for over 1,000 companies - including well known brands such as WeWork, Cabify, and Homify. With a proven product market fit developed primarily via organic growth, we are now looking for talented and highly-driven Sales Development Representatives to help us grow Toky into the world’s most popular phone system.


As a Business Development Manager, you’ll quickly and efficiently field and qualify interest from inbound & outbound channels, including phone, chat, email, request for contact forms and more. You’ll build sales volume by uncovering, developing, and securing sales meetings with prospective customers. Your initial target markets will be Latin American countries.

You will report directly to the CSO and work in close partnership with our Inbound Sales, Marketing & Customer Success teams to convert a high percentage of your leads.

  • 5+ years of progressively increased responsibility in B2B within the enterprise software space - prior experience managing relationships with all levels of the partner community is ideal
  • Strong experience in both the direct and partner channels are strongly desired
  • Experience with creating pricing proposals, negotiating terms and managing the contract process. Fearless and a ruthless focus on execution
  • Experience selling communications to a technical and business audience, building trust and mutual respect with technical customers and peers
  • You have a passion for communications technology
  • You have the ability to understand and articulate the benefits of VoIP Telephony
  • You are determined and have grit and hustle. You are relentless in pursuing goals and solving problems
  • You are friendly, enthusiastic, and have professional communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Drive to continually improve your sales skills
  • Ability & willingness to occasionally travel internationally
  • Business level fluency in English & Spanish is a must. Bonus points for Portuguese


  • Prospect and develop leads to closing stages to foster Toky growth across Latin American countries
  • Generate new business opportunities from both incoming leads and targeted account based outbound selling
  • End to end ownership of identifying, creating, developing, negotiating and closing high-value opportunities
  • New customer acquisition and drive new revenue. Employ a solution-selling methodology to facilitate customer evaluations and to help them understand Toky’s unique differentiation
  • Will own forecast and monthly, quarterly commit
  • Responsible for building sales/lead pipeline by meeting & exceeding lead generation (SAL) quotas
  • Make a large number of phone calls, both warm and cold to generate leads (70+ a week) while consistently applying selection criteria to develop healthy opportunities
  • Provide follow up on demand-generation activities
  • Keep up-to-date records of Activities, Opportunities, and Accounts in our CRM
  • Provide feedback to management on the effectiveness of outbound phone and email campaigns
  • Support and drive attendance to marketing events
  • Be a go-to person for all customers’ product education needs
